BlackBerry’s Second Outage Before Christmas

Blackberry
BlackBerry’s messaging systems reportedly went down again on Tuesday night in Canada and abroad. There were reports of e-mail delays by users. These report spread like forest fire through the social networking sites.
There is no official statement on RIM’s website acknowledging the problem or informing users about the measure they are taking to fix it.
However, some news sites have reported that: “The company apologized for the outage and assured subscribers it technical team are working to solve the problem, similar to what happened on Thursday when email and Internet usage was restored only by mid-afternoon. Blackberry’s phone function, though, is working.”
Interestingly, the company updated its official blog at Inside Blackberry where they mentioned the face-lift of the blog site, but there is no mention of the outage.
Douglas Soltys, editor in chief, Inside BlackBerry (RIM’s official blog) wrote, “Welcome to the new and most definitely improved version of the Inside BlackBerry blog! We’ve had our team of elves working quite hard in the past few weeks, and we’re extremely excited to bring you this digital present just in time for the holidays.
The Inside BlackBerry blog team is still committed to bringing you authoritative content about BlackBerry smartphones directly from the people who make them. We hope that this new version of Inside BlackBerry will not only provide that content, but help us to better connect with our community of BlackBerry smartphone owners: you!
So please do us a favor and check out the site! Kick the tires a little, and post a comment telling us what you think (yes, commenting is now fixed). We have more on the way, but would really like to hear about what you want, need, and like.”
Users need you to fix your services, RIM, not your blog.
